According to a host of accolades (not least of which is appearing in Car and Driver magazine’s Ten Best Cars List 22 times between 1992 and 2012) the BMW 3 series surely is the greatest of cars the industry has seen, since its introduction in 1975.
The fifth generation E90 version (2005-2012) has received acclaim from the New York Auto Show, was awarded the Best New Sports Sedan at the Canadian Car of the Year and was voted Japan’s Import Car of the Year for 2005/6.
What Car Magazine Car rates the BMW 3 series the ‘reigning compact executive car of the year’ (2013) and it was voted the Best Executive Saloon from the Scottish Car of the Year 2012.
